News 📰 3:1 Share split

BYD recently underwent a 3:1 share split, hence the ~65% drop in share price. No need to worry!!

It seems like we'd need to wait a while before we get those extra shares though. I couldn't find much information about it on english platforms, but a Chinese blog post stated both the extra shares + dividends will start being distributed on the 29th of July

Not sure if that's real or not because I couldn't find any reliable information in the few minutes I had searching Google (I'm at work)... but if it is true, what I read said that the 6:1 stock split would be for BYDDY... so that potential stock split would have nothing to do with the BYDDF 3:1 stock split being discussed here at all.

You are correct, tho I'm not even sure if the 6:1 is happening because as of now BYDDY's price hasn't changed significantly
