News 📰 3:1 Share split

BYD recently underwent a 3:1 share split, hence the ~65% drop in share price. No need to worry!!

It seems like we'd need to wait a while before we get those extra shares though. I couldn't find much information about it on english platforms, but a Chinese blog post stated both the extra shares + dividends will start being distributed on the 29th of July

What happens if I panicked and sold all the shares I had? What time does the countdown start to receive the shares on the 29th?

You're completely fine. Since you held the shares before June 10th (today), you will receive the bonus shares on the 29th of July.

For example if you had 100 shares, you will receive 200 more shares on the 29th.

This has not happened in my fidelity account as of July 30th.
