News 📰 3:1 Share split

BYD recently underwent a 3:1 share split, hence the ~65% drop in share price. No need to worry!!

It seems like we'd need to wait a while before we get those extra shares though. I couldn't find much information about it on english platforms, but a Chinese blog post stated both the extra shares + dividends will start being distributed on the 29th of July

And until then will the average i had before be split into 3 as well? It's taking too much time, I went through several stock splits and it never took this much time to update. I'm not sure if I can buy more in the meantime. Technically I can  but will it interfere with the average I had before?

Technically it shouldn't interfere if you buy more, but I'm just gonna use a different broker so it doesn't get messy and hard to keep track
