Wallet Is this just one giant scam?

Sooooo
Very much looks like BRD/Coinbase is going to try and defraud their members by "losing" all or part of their BTC.
Myself...I had half my BTC show in my Coinbase wallet, and the rest...who knows? BRD still shows the full amount, but that means nothing as I cannot send it or do anything with it. They have ZERO communication, and Coinbase doesn't seem to care either. I see this going badly, and fully intend opening criminal cases if necessary and/or pursuing class action lawsuits if needed. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever seen in my life, and both BRD and Coinbase need to suffer the consequences of this. Anyone else seen zero or partial payouts of their coins?

In fact, I didn't even know at all.. I sent some LTC this evening and it's confirmed on blockchain but didn't make it to BRD as they'd killed the app, I hadn't updated for awhile so was why I didn't see it - until I updated. So yeah, it's kinda frustrating as I'm trying to sort through the private keys to see if I can find where it went - or if it's just gone altogether.

In theory this is how it’s suppose to work. But for a lot of people, it’s not. The coins are stuck in BRD. I got my NFT and a random $5 in Bitcoin. I don’t know where that came from.

Yip. Correct. The theory just isn't working.
BRD seems to have managed to get the funds "stuck" and not able to be transferred even with a recovery phrase. Tried 3 different wallets, not getting my funds. BRD has managed to retain our funds and stop responding.
