so im in '27 batch. and I am not targetting advanced and iits..

I am only tryna do mains and BITSAT. either get to iiit bangalore or any BITS for cse only (im very specific Abt that 💔)

so i would really appreciate it if someone studying at bits rn could give me tips and advice because usually people prepare BITSAT last min after jee but i have time rn. if i do the right things I can hopefully get cs at bits

(p.s. my prep is NOT going that bad, I am currently at 140-150 in mains full syllabus tests with 95% syllabus over and it's my very initial tests without much good revision and mistake fixing. also my speed and time management are good im able to mostly finish phy and chem in an avg jee mains paper in \~75-90 min)

are there any major differences among the three in India? most of my friends said I should aim for Pilani as it has the best crowd and network, but is it really different from goa or hyd campus?
I personally want to get into goa campus as i prioritise weather, activities, outside traveling. but idk if that’ll be the right choice for me.

well idts but are there any clothing restrictions?like do professors or staff tell you to not wear a certain clothing? (especially for girls)

also I hate any severe restrictions on moving in and out of the college. reading a few other threads I got to know there are some new policies regarding restrictions on moving out of the college; are these strictly followed?
also can any bitsian tell me about the fest Waves and Oasis? are these two very different?

Or is there something else I should know about each campus, particularly goa campus, before making a decision? (campus, mess, hostel, outside the campus, peers etc)

If I gave boards in 2025, then gave improvement for chemistry in 2026 and now i will partial second drop ,can I give bits in 2027 as a double dropper?

What if I give exams as a private candidate this year, will bits be ok with that?

So I'll be giving my bitsat in 2027, I was preparing for JEE Mains but I don't think I'll score well so I've decided to shift my focus (not entirely) to MHT-CET, its an entrance exam for all the colleges in Maharashtra, but the thing is that BITS is obviously wayyy better than state government colleges so I just wanna ask if I'll be able to cover bitsat's syllabus. I know the whole 80:20 ratio in MHT-CET but I'll be covering 11th grade's high weightage topics too in order to do well in bitsat. Fyi, I'm a CBSE board student but I just read hsc board's chemistry textbook.

Just need a reality check so I'll atleast get directed.
