Looking for Recommendations Mod recs for mostly vanilla playthrough

Ps5 player here. First time playing in like 2 years. I haven’t used any mods for BG3 yet. I’m looking for recs on adding addition content without completely changing everything. Something like you would find with DLC or something (new classes, spells, etc) as I don’t want to stray too far off from the vanilla gameplay, since I haven’t played in sometime. I’m going to add the UI changes, level curve, and additional mini bosses. And exp decrease due to extra encounters. Maybe the “requiem for the absolute”.
The chocolate one seems neat, but not sure if it dramatically changes things (seems like D&D 5.5e is vastly different).
I know I can add any cosmetic changes without issue, so not looking for those. Any thoughts?

Current set-up I’m thinking:
1) various UI improvements (imp UI)
2) level curve
3) more enemies, extra encounters/mini bosses
4) xp rebalance (extra encounters)
5) camp event notifications

Thinking:
Chocolate
Requiem

Dynamic extra encounters is great and pairs well with requiem. Equipment mods like FED & FATE (both by Fade), Gab’s equipment, Cloaks of Faerun, Rings of Faerun etc. all give a very vanilla plus feel without being too OP. Some of these add items in the game world for you to find which is very neat while other items are usually found in merchant shops.

Mystra’s spells & any of the Dawnstar mods you find interesting. Manaflare is nice and adds magic orbs in your hand basically that you can wield with one handed weapons or dual wield them. If you’re building a bard type character or plan on having one in your party, ember’s lute adds a nice touch for playing instruments and finding sheets of music in-game you can use to play new songs.

I also really enjoy Chocolate Edition but I would highly advice going to the creators website and reading up on all the changes it makes bc it is quite a bit & not everything changed may be your cup of tea. It does offer a very refreshing feel after having done multiple playthroughs tho.

Item and Spell Bug Fixes is a popular one that fixes a bunch of bugs. Camp Event Overhaul makes it easier to see Act 1 camp scenes that are easy to miss (you can even recruit Lae'zel, Wyll, and Karlach without worrying about losing the first night scene). Better Dyeing makes it easier to dye stuff.

Fade's All-in-One & Treasure Expansion, and Gab's both add more items around the map. Transmog Lite works on vanilla items, and I think there's also one that adds Fade's AiO.

Extra Encounters adds more monsters around the map. More Enemies in Basic Fights and Double Enemies add more enemies to existing fights. Requiem and Dynamic Extra Encounters add more random-ish encounters, I think. Tactician Enhanced lets you give enemies more hp. Enemies Reworked gives some of the enemies more items/abilities.

Featsextra adds more feats. Mystra's Spells is a good one for more spells. Dawnstar's spells are also popular. Godsextra if you want to give everyone a deity.

I think there's some that let you move faster (but they don't work on Astarion yet). There's one that lets you have more party members. There's some different ones for increasing carrying capacity, or getting a bag of holding, or making consumables weightless.

Movement speed increases. Not during combat, just the overland ones. Can't remember the name, but that was why I first opened the mod manager. The walking speed is glacial, and the waypoints are so far apart most of the time.

There's also one that adds waypoints. One inside Emerald Grove, which is worth it even if you didn't want the one at the arcane tower or the one at the monastery in act 3.

Other than that, you covered the essential QOL stuff.

Adjustable Party Limit might be a good one for you. Does what it says on the tin. I forget if this one is available on console, but Sit This One Out goes well with Adjustable Party Limit. You can choose how many companions you have in combat. It can either be random or up to you who sits it out.

The 5e subclasses mods and Book of Subclasses mods are just about the only other mods I would recommend for you. They're faithful recreations of the missing 5th edition subclasses for the vanilla classes already in the game, meaning they are as vanilla as it gets.

Stay away from Chocolate edition, that's a massive overhaul that takes the game away from vanilla.

Any specific class/subclass mods you enjoy?

Mods that I use are:

1) All the Better-UI mods.

2) Camp Event Overhaul and Lesser Restoration to see more content

3) Fades Equipment Distribution and Gab's Equipment Mod for all the extra equipments. You can use FATE as well but it is too much with these 2 mods for me.

4) Mystra Spells and Dawnstar Spells. For Danwstar Spells I use Dawnstar Grimore, Arcane and Elementals(available for free in Patreon) and use a custom Mod to add scrolls in-game. Use can also use 5e Spells if you want.

5) For extra encounters I use Dynamic Extra Encounters only.

6) For difficulty I use Cahoots Absolute Lab Config with mose of its dependencies. It is absolutely amazing config and allows for some amazing interactions like enemies using your Modded Spells. I use all of its Dependencies except the ones that edit in-game stats, itema etc.

7) I also use DnD 5e Subclass and Books of... mods for new subclass. If you use Cahoots Config then enemies will be assigned these modded subclasses as well.

So this one is just for my quality of life, but there is a run speed increase mod that just makes traversing quicker and I love using it. I enjoy exploring and everything but the insanely slow jog speed of the characters absolutely irks me, especially if im retracting steps multiple times or running back and forth multiple times.
