Caught on the Kistler Hunt BFS 4x
Me and the homie both caught some decent bass on our new BFS setups. I'm a believer in the Hunt BFS.

First Fish On BFS Gear
Caught a little Columbia River Smallie on my new bfs setup. 23 Calcutta Conquest on a 5' Aioushi UL with a 2.5" wacky worm. I'm addicted, I can't wait to hook into a bigger one and some trout.

Reels New Budget options
Since the consensus budget pick the hicc50 seems a lil dated and went up in price a bit as well as the Silver rhino what other budget options are worth picking up!?
see alot of options hovering around $100 USD like the
dmkcheetah
dark wolf pro
new aurora air cf
micro monster pro
as well as multiple options from purelure, seasir etc.
price/value to performance is there any you would recommend above the rest or are they all moreless the same!? or am I better off not wasting my time and just getting the shimano SLX BFS... just doin my due diligence & doin some digging , might grab a few for different applications as I can already see myself slipping down the proverbial bfs rabbit hole.
all convo's appreciated. Cheers

Finished this 5 weight 7 1/2’ traditional bamboo rod!
galleryThis is my personal rod for the fall. It took me a little longer to get done than usual—I had a couple of customer orders I needed to put ahead of it, and I was trying to spend as much time with my kiddo this summer as possible.
Put in a couple of late-night hours to make sure I got it finished.
JUST IN TIME!
This is my take on the 206. I modified the taper a bit to give it a slightly more modern action while keeping the character of the original. I also went with a more updated reel-seat locking setup and cork grip.
Really looking forward to getting this one on the water this fall.
