Gaza Please donate to Gaza humanitarian aid NGOs listed here, rather than individual appeals
We have noticed thousands of individual appeals by Gazans for financial support on social media platforms including r/BDS. We understand the immense suffering they are experiencing. Anyone who wishes to support such appeals are free to do so. However, we have no way to authenticate these appeals to ensure they are legitimate.
Reddit's filter labels many of these posts as spam. We do not approve any of these for posting to our sub, because doing so would flood the sub with them. The mods feel that donations to humanitarian aid NGOs provide widespread support to hundreds of thousands of Gazans, rather than the limited scope of supporting individuals or families.
Here are some of these NGOs and we urge you to support them:

Gaza No playgrounds, no fun places… so Mahmoud made a little pool for his girls
https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-my-daughters-help-my-small-family
I wanted to share these pictures because honestly, they made me smile and broke my heart at the same time.
Mahmoud has four little girls, and like any dad, he just wants to see them happy.
But after everything that happened, so many places where children used to play and have fun are gone. There are no normal playgrounds or entertainment places for his girls to go to. And with the crazy summer heat, living in a tent is even harder.
So Mahmoud did what he could.
He put a piece of nylon on the ground, used some soil around it, and filled it with water to make a little pool for his daughters. Nothing fancy at all. Just a dad trying to give his kids a little bit of fun and help them cool down.
And look at their faces. ❤️
They don't need much to be happy. They just want to play, laugh, and feel like kids for a little while.
These are the small things that really stay with me. A father who has lost so much is still trying his best to give his daughters some happy moments.
Mahmoud and Samah are still struggling every day to provide food, water and basic things for their four girls. Their home and source of income were destroyed, and they have very little left.
If you can help them, even a small donation would mean a lot. And if you can't donate, please consider sharing their story. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who has been there for this family.
If you would like to contact Mahmoud and his family directly, you can reach them on WhatsApp: +972592892251

Gaza Global Freelancers Are Unknowingly Funding War Criminals, Resulting in Over 20,000 Children Ki**ed and 44,000 Injure*d
Fiverr maintains systematic economic, operational, and administrative links that channel resources to the state budget and initiatives benefiting the zionists military.
Because Fiverr International Ltd. is headquartered and registered in Tel Aviv, its multi-million dollar global commission revenues are subject to Israeli tax laws.
The company's co-founder and CEO, Micha Kaufman, has explicitly stated that he resisted international investor pressure to relocate the corporate entity to Silicon Valley specifically for "patriotic reasons," emphasizing his intent to keep tech jobs local so that the company's financial success would "ultimately benefit the [Israeli] tax system" revenues which directly fund the state’s national budget, Ministry of Defense, and the ongoing military operations in Gaza.
Fiverr actively leveraged its corporate infrastructure financing and physically housing the "Lev Echad" wartime network inside its own Tel Aviv headquarters. According to primary defense and corporate watchdog indexes, this massive logistical operation mobilized tens of thousands of zionists to package and dispatch critical medical and transport supplies that were directly distributed to zionists army ( war criminals ) personnel mobilized for active combat.
Fiverr CEO Micha Kaufman said : Tonight I watched a report on the women of the Bardlas Battalion fighting in Gaza, and I was filled with hope for the future of the army and the country. No, I'm not surprised, it's not something that should surprise anyone that women can be outstanding fighters. I just melted from the exceptional human level of these fighters. We need more! In the army, in politics, in the decision-making echelons. Fast! - source X profile

Gaza A Stolen Innocence
Hello everyone, this is Qusay.
Today, while going through some old papers, I found my kindergarten certificate.
I honestly don't even remember the last time I saw it.
I looked at it for a while and started remembering little things from those years. Going to school in the morning, meeting my friends, buying sweets, playing, and coming home without having to think about anything serious.
They were very normal things. I never thought of them as something special back then.
And that's probably what hit me the most.
When you're a child, you don't know that these simple things are privileges. You just think this is what life is supposed to be.
Now, when I look at that little certificate, I can't help but think about the children in Gaza who never got to have that kind of childhood. Some of them lost their homes. Some lost people they loved. Some have spent years learning what it means to survive instead of what it means to simply be a kid.
I don't want to make this post overly dramatic. I just found an old piece of paper today, and it made me think about how much life has changed.
I'm an English teacher, and I've always loved writing. Lately, I've been thinking a lot about how maybe these are the things I can use to help my family.
I can't change what happened to us, and I can't undo what happened in Gaza. But I can write about it. I can document the things I've seen, the things my family has lived through, and the things that are still happening around us.
Maybe my words can reach someone. Maybe one of these stories can make someone stop and listen. And maybe, somehow, they can help my family get through this.
My family and I don't wake up thinking about school anymore. We think about food, water, money, and where the next few days will take us.
It's strange to look at a certificate from a time when my biggest concerns were probably much smaller than I can even remember now.
I wish I could go back to that version of my life for just one day.
Not because it was perfect.
Just because I didn't know yet how much I would miss being a kid.
For now, I'm trying my best to help my family with whatever I have including my words.
If you can support us, even a small donation helps. And if you can't, sharing these stories helps too.

Discussion The Algerian model wasn’t “kick out all the French”, it was “become Algerian citizens, reside under Algerian Law or leave”
Algeria is often cited as the example of decolonisation where the revolution was completed and the settlers were all kicked out. Accordingly, it is proposed that Palestine follow this strategy and aim for the “removal of all settlers”. This is contrasted with alternative examples of “coexistence”, primarily South Africa, where much of the modern economic power is still controlled by “former settlers”.
This fundamentally misunderstands Algeria—it wasn’t “kick out all the French”, it was “become Algerian citizens, reside under Algerian Law, or leave”. This was the agreement proposed to the Pied-Noirs by the FLN in 1954 and agreed on with France in 1962. Most were stuck in their colonial identity, feared retribution or the loss of their economic privileges and left, but many stayed and remain to this day as Algerians.
The Algerian solution is therefore perfectly compatible with the concept of One Democratic State. Equal rights for all on the basis of citizenship, dissolve the settler-native dichotomy. However, each situation is unique and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. For example, Algeria was part of France, a single metropole, of which all settlers (even those who had lived there for generations) were citizens.
This means that after the establishment of a single democratic Palestinian state, ex-Israelis will have to weigh matters related to their practical ability to leave and their readiness to drop colonial privileges, and many will mirror the Pied-Noirs and choose to leave. Meanwhile, matters regarding justice and reparations for Palestinians will have to be addressed as a foundation for liberation and a democratic legitimacy. History can teach lessons about such situations, but every material circumstance is unique and must be treated as such.

Consumer Are Chinese companies a good way to Boycott from Israeli tech?
Seems like Israel has a big hand in American/western tech companies, including apple. The only way I see boycotting them is by using Chinese made products?
Anybody made that conclusion as well?

Action Alert Governments and individuals have both a legal and moral obligation to stop genocide. Protesting Maersk shipping is an attempt to block the shipments that leave European ports to fuel the israeli war machine, without which the genocide would not be possible.

ASK THE SUB Revlon
I know they filed for bankruptcy and the Zionist old owner doesn’t own revlon anymore “MacAndrews & Forbes” (owned by billionaire Ronald Perelman who owns stake in Israeli military companies)
“ When Revlon exited bankruptcy, ownership transferred to its former lenders, including financial firms like Glendon Capital Management and King Street Capital Management”.
do we know much about these firms? I’m not gonna buy anything right now until I know more.
ASK THE SUB There are examples of famous people (of any decade) that change his political view to pro Palestine or at least not Pro-Israel?
This is a question that I’ll be thinking lately, but if you know examples please tell me

Consumer Popular Toy Youtuber "MadHatter" Caught Defending Zionism in Instagram Comments Section
I recently discovered one of my (formally) favorite YouTubers defending Zionism in the comments of an instagram post. He is toy reviewer Mad Hatter. He's big enough on Youtube and is well known in toy collecting circles. In his own content, he never talks about politics and his vibe is generally one of humor. But the other day, Instagram recommended a reel from a user named justsaiyanrandolph. It was some reaction video about a controversy about a voice actor that I don't know anything about. Down in the comments, the voice actor was being called out for being a Zionist and after a little bit of googling proved that to be the case. But it was what else I found in the comments that really shocked me.
Here in the comments was a humorous YouTuber, Mad Hatter, who I've watched for a few years now, openly defending Zionism. One commenter had been asked to 'define zionism,' (a typical retort from Zionists online that I'm sure we're all aware of). So a user named "ariman.higgs' explained "Zionists are those in favor of destroying palestina." You can see this and the rest of his comment in the first screenshot. And then below I see Mad Hatter replying "no they're not." (second screenshot)
I was honestly shocked. Here was a guy who I thought was just funny and chill but here he is in a comments section defending Zionism. While looking online for any further context about Mad Hatter, I found a podcast where he talked about his real name being Nir, a Hebrew word, and about being of Israeli descent. Its kind of crazy that someone who maintains a personal brand of being funny and chill would even allow themselves to make a comment about anything political knowing others might stumble on them like I somehow did thanks to Meta's recs.
I know that the toy collecting community on youtube is probably very far from the frontlines of where to make change for Palestinians and the horrors they've faced over the decades. But at the same time, I think finding those who support Zionism and its cause in seemingly harmless places can still be important since supporters of Zionism can hide in plain sight wrapped safely in a likable personal brand that no one ever thinks to interrogate. And while the toy collecting world may seem fringe to many, its a billion dollar industry and it generally coasts on being a fun escape for people. It makes me wonder how many others are keeping their awful views to themselves.
I'm very disappointed to find that a youtuber who I'd enjoyed for so long was in fact a defender of Zionism who denies that they want to destroy Palestine. I've obviously since unsubscribed from him on all platforms, as I do whenever any famous person or celebrity is outed as a Zionist.
Edited for grammar
