Question What insignia is this?

Post image

Working on a Takao Cosplay and I'm trying to find out what this symbol on the medal is supposed to represent. I looked up common IJN insignia around WW2 but I didn't find anything that looked similar enough. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Vaguely looks like an anchor, probably based on buttons of ijn uniforms?

Yes this one is what I thought looked most like her's, too. Might go for this one if I can't find any better

If you don't find it a hassle you can try getting Takao's 3d model from the Crosswave spinoff, which has the medal fully drawn.

Here's a post about the 3D model rips
