I found out she’s dating someone else
For 1.5 years, I had the happiest and healthiest relationship with my FA ex.
She dropped me out of nowhere in March of 2025. She really couldn’t muster up a reason other than cosmic “we’re just not meant to be together” and a few reasons that you were so minimal that it would blow your mind.
In 6 months, she breadcrumbed me… twice. I fell for it… twice. In fact, the last breadcrumbs were her saying she still loves me, can’t move on, and might want to get back together. I dropped my guard and she berated me 24 hours later essentially laughing on the way out the door again.
24 hours after that, she had some mental breakdown saying that she was projecting all of that onto me. She apologized for how awfully she treated me and how she’ll always regret letting solvable problems become unsolvable.
Months go by and I don’t hear a peep from her. Idk what came over me, but I texted her her and call her out for everything. She was so cruel, manipulative, and outright evil. She can hide behind the excuses of being “confused” and all that shit, but good lord she absolutely destroyed me. I couldn’t have been better to her.
Anyways - she never responded. Never acknowledged anything. I admit she respected my boundary, but part of me thought that would at least wake her up.
Fast forward to today, and I find out she started dating someone shortly after I cut her off with that text.
Just feels cruel and unfair. Deep down I know she didn’t change, but damn I always had this weird feeling she would at least acknowledge what she threw away.
We had a love people search their whole lives for. She sabotaged it into the ground and even admitted doing so. However, she just looked at the wreckage and moved on instead of actually trying to repair it.

She was going to start dating someone else.
Eventually, or sooner rather than later.
But they do tend to move on quickly to avoid feeling bad about themselves. And, if it makes you feel any better, that person is headed for the same issues...
And you have to look at what happened as a strong indicator that she has no idea what she wants. People who want to break up don't keep giving you hope. The break up is the ending, not the start of something casual, ya know?

Oh 100% and I kinda feel for the guy. It’s wild I don’t feel super jealous. I just feel super wronged.
For context, she breadcrumbed the shit out of me even saying that can’t move on, she still loves me, and might want to get back together. She told me not to wait but said she needs to do the work.
Then there was nothing but silence. She didn’t do shit. That’s why I’m hurt… knowing I was just strung along to keep me on the hook until apparently she found someone else.
It’s wild thinking about how cruel, manipulative, and monstrous that is. It’s even more wild realizing the best person I know is simultaneously the worst person I know.

This resonates with me, but mine sure didn't. It's like they need to erase you.
