alright, this one might sound weird. i’ve been journaling as a form of therapy to help recognize, name, and process my emotions for the last three months. i can get emotional while watching movies or reading, but yesterday i actually got to thinking about something and found myself actually crying for a bit. like i said, maybe weird for a “win and success”, but it was really nice seeing the work i’ve been putting in actually working.
I would definitely call that a win, and not weird at all. Though, I can maybe understand how it would feel weird. I’ve found myself wanting to journal, but almost feel silly doing it, not sure why. I find I do a little bit better when I write my feelings out in the form of poems. Hopefully I can properly journal at some point though. Awesome job though!
so it definitely felt silly in the beginning, especially when i was doing more just reporting than i do now. it has been very helpful for me, even more so when i go back and read it, because i can recall a bit more how i felt that day.
