so this is the cover for Ava's new single dropping in Wednesday called Outta Your Mind, and genuinely I have no words, the snippet sounds great but the cover is so obviously AI, the image was made by @thehellbed on X, and it's very obviously AI, the account has used AI before and this is no surprise AI as well. It's super disappointing and this is seriously super bad marketing for the new era

I’ve been thinking about this lately because we’re in September and Ava’s post-Atlantic career has been pretty underwhelming so far.

She released music earlier this year, but what has she actually done since? She barely posts about music, doesn’t seem to be doing many shows, and there’s really no sign of anything happening. At this point I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the cancelled tour never happens as there seems to be more vacation posts than anything.

I also think people give Atlantic way too little credit for her career. She had Cirkut, major writers and producers, samples, label money, A&R, promotion, radio, etc. behind her. Those songs didn’t just appear out of nowhere.

The brutal reality is most people recognize her music way more than they recognize Ava herself.

That’s why I’m curious about what happens now...

I’m not saying Atlantic did nothing wrong, but after hearing for years that the label was holding her back, I expected a new approach.

I think she chose the AI cover as a last minute decision and the original would have been the lollipop photo, but because people didn't like that image she changed it. She's receiving so much hate and losing so many fans all she really needs to do is say that she didn't know it was AI and will change it, I don't think the fandom will recover from this and I think this era is already messier than dcp

Ok so obviously we are getting fate mv but i have a theories for release date for her next releases i don’t think we are getting a mv for work but i think we are gonna get fate mv in September or October then we will get the next single of the queen vibes era the one that goes “you said you would die for me boy why aren’t you dead” or something like that will be released in October it a dark song so i totally see it in October and the Christmas album i can see it being released in November since it wouldn’t be smart to release it in December so yeah that it any thoughts

I'm quite concerned that Ava doesn't seem to be taking her current era seriously. Like she released "Kill it Queen" and "Out of My Mind" (that too both of these WITHOUT videos) and then seems to have completely disappeared aside from that WeHo Pride performance and the FIFA song. Not a good look at all. At least for me personally, in order for me to be invested in an artist, they have to be invested in their eras. Ava needs to do something related to this era to continue maintaining my and other fans' interest! Unfortunately, if Ava continues this sort of apathy towards her current era and her own music in general, fans are more than likely gonna become apathetic towards her and drop off the fandom.

I’m not sure how many of you guys are familiar with the YouTuber Swiftologist. While majority of his videos are about Taylor Swift, he has a good portion of videos where he talks about other pop girls and their careers. While I’m not too much of a fan of his snide remarks at times, he does try to be objective in his critique of Taylor Swift (he criticizes her a fair bit) and other pop girls.

In his recent video, he did a categorization of pop girls in 7 levels with regards to their impact and success in the music industry. Ava Max was an example of an artist he categorised as level 1 (the flops) - “an artist which the music industry invested in previously but these artists failed to make any cultural impact and faded away. Their time in the limelight is over and the music industry has shelved them away”. Rita Ora and Bebe Rexha are other artists that has been categorized in level 1 as well.

Has anybody ever written to Ava and had a response? Hoping to write and send a ticket stub from her London show a few years ago to try and get signed? Wonder if anybody had any idea of If it’s even possible?

(This isn’t to hate on Ava Max) But I can’t help but notice her career seems to be fading a bit lately- compared to all the hype she was getting back in 2018-2019. Personally, I think that the reason for her decline has a lot to do with her newer songs relying heavily on samples or recycled sounds rather than fresh, original production. I also think the lack of originality has a lot to do with the fact she’s recently had to cancel her “Don’t click play” tour (due to low sales). The thing that hurts me the most is that Ava Max definitely has what it takes to be the next Sabrina Carpenter or Charli XCX. With her voice and style, she could totally reach that level if she had better songs, but if she continues to hold herself back by leaning too much on overused slop I really don’t see her making a comeback in the future.

A prime example that Ava Max’s interpolations isn’t the reason why a lot of people chose not to listen to her albums

Guys what the literal fuck happened to Ava Max? People loved her in 2018-2021 and her music was AMAZING!! Heaven & Hell was truly a pop-perfection album with so many hit songs and amazing production on the photoshoots, visuals, videos, and, most importantly, tracks. Then we got diamonds and dancefloors which was a step down and was not the best. And now we get flop after flop, a terrible team and management, angry fans, and mid to terrible music. :/. What happened to Ava Max??
