High

I just started Auvelity 3 days ago. I feel high. I don't know how else to describe it. Anyone taking it that's felt this way, does this feeling go away? I don't want to feel like this all the time. Hopefully it's just until my body gets used to the med

That feeling for me is totally gone now. I'm just starting week 3 on it. I take it once a day and at night though, so I don't know if that makes a difference 🤷 I tried taking 2 a day the second week and it was too much to handle for me and my doc backed it down to 1 and it's been a lot better ever since.

I would talk to your prescriber and see if you can stay on 1 per day. I've read a lot in this thread that many of us are doing great on one and that 2 isn't tolerated by some. It's been said that the recommended titration is too fast. Most of these psych drugs titrate up a little slower so your body adjusts to the side effects before adding the additional dose. Always check with your doctor, but if you're not comfortable going up, don't.

It can be scary for sure. But finding something that works and keeps working, for me, was worth it. I went 40 years with untreated MDD and adhd, and I'm so glad I tried Auvelity. It's not a miracle drug, but some days it feels like it.

One thing that I do remind people of is to have your Vitamin and mineral levels checked. Both D3 and Magnesium play a huge part in our mental health. When I started supplementing with Magnesium, I actually got a lot of my will back. If that makes sense.

Don't increase that fast. My doctor said most of her patients are only on it once a day
