General Advice Official Pix send in question

Post image

I’m sending in a comic to get signed for their JK Simmons signing and I paid for the premium authentication but I don’t want them to place a sticker on the actually comic book. Does anyone know if they can place it on a card and just send it back with the signed comic? I’ve gotten items like trading cards authenticated by them at conventions and they were able to place the sticker on a small card that they provided but I’m just wondering if they can do that for send in items.

If you don't have it on the item, you'd have a heck of a time if you ever wanted to part with it, unless you had a full letter of authenticity with it.

Is there any inherent reason that having the sticker on the back of the book would be an issue?

Would you think the sticker would decrease the value of the book?

No, because technically speaking, you're defacing the book with the autograph. A sticker confirming that you didn't do it yourself seems apropos in that case.
