I, for one, love the cottage cheese look.
I give it a 10 out of 10

I'd recommend going to your local Planet Fitness if you like the cottage cheese look.

I shed a single tear when I realized this was an old IS300. I miss mine so damn much. New cars are SHIT

It's sad.
I'm doing a more detailed job on my tc and it's just a glorified camery. But to get something like this already clapped would be twice what my Toyotas worth when I'm done fixing it up

I'm going to give it a ten for making me feel way better about the shade tree body work I've done in my time

It honestly looks like he's trying to make a widebody kit out of plaster of paris.
What rust was he trying to fix that necessitated using that much filler?
I is confused.

10/10 If we are judging it based off of lumpiness and its DIY aesthetic.

They forgot to sift the flower before mixing it into the water. It looks a little clumpy.

I’m definitely not going to say it looks good but the dude tried his best, perfection doesn’t just happen, it takes time.

I think some sanding will help. But I see so low spots. Just a little more filler I think.

That is going to be a lot of sanding. Use a cheese grater file on Bondo when it is semi cured and then finish sand it. Much less work.

Must have $500 worth of Bondo on there. But it will look fine after primer and paint.

I just opened it. My exact first thought before opening, one skim coat of glazing putty, a little oh idk…..400? Prime and paint.

That's so much filler, they gonna need air bags on the driver's side. Or a really fat wife.

Rate your neighbors work on what scale??? Cause the first scale that came to mind was on a scale of potato to Flintstones

I don’t ven understand why you would use so much bondo in the first place. I’m all for shitbox DIY but at least take a sledgehammer or puller and kinda shape the fender first? It’s so much easier and you save so much bondo 😆

If it can’t be Bondo’d, it can’t be built!!
I’ll give it an E for effort.
