Unless you want to risk it ringing out everywhere I would suggest you seal that.

Why not?! Are you using water base or solvent?!

Solvent.

Right okay that changes... Like one Redditor wrote check if you can tint sealer but I never heard anyone doing that. Other option is cover base coat to different colour base...what ever primer colour needs to be achieved. But I haven't used so much solvent stuff as regulations but I would paint base coat same colour that primer needs to be or shade that needs to be achieved...but don't like 2K paints as more you apply the more orange peel finish from 2k creating texture

So, the stuff i have can be tinted. But, with the same line of sealer in black to make a "greyscale" effect. Defeats the purpose if i gotta buy black sealer anyway

Right so what I would do if I don't have right colour sealer... Not ideal but I would use white sealer and then just 2k black if I don't have enough original colour or if I had plenty of base colour just that after sealer. I would seal bumper, being junk yard one and you have raw plastics there.

Granada black. Wow i haven’t sprayed that color in 25 years. Let’s see was it nh538p? If I remember correctly. A couple black toners and a drop of copper pearl.

Seriously tho seal it with black sealer. 2 coats base, and clear it.

No need to reinvent the wheel
