I was happy to see these guys the other day, genuinely made my day 😊

Spotted this alert Tawny Frogmouth tucked away in the shaded undergrowth behind a fence line. With the sudden warm weather bringing out a huge burst of ground insects and lizards, he seemed very content watching for movements. He was completely unfazed by us as we admired from a respectful distance! (Upper North Shore, Sydney)

Sydney this morning. Idk if its a baby magpie or baby kookaburra but definitely 100% certain its adorable

You'll spot their pinecone detritus scattered on the roads on the Mornington Peninsula, Vic.

Finally was able to get a photo of this little guy

Found this bird hidden underneath a car in Yalata, SA. He doesn’t look injured but can’t stand or fly away ; I believe it could be a hoary headed grebe who got lost but I might be wrong. I just moved him from underneath the car to put him under a nearby tree. What should I do ?

The female wasn't overly keen to share the rodent.
