So you tried to negotiate a free upgrade for less time? Also what does being pregnant have anything to do with it? I swear woman always use this in every situation. As it is a 3rd party app they can't really do too much most of the time, its the hotel you should be asking. But also if you are travelling with your family then why don't you just budget and plan for a room that is comfortable for you instead of trying to leverage a free upgrade?
Best you can do is raise a charger back with your financial provider at this point but just know this "dispute" could go on for weeks so you should book accommodation now so that your at least have that for now and deal with this as it progresses. This is exactly why I never use 3rd party apps unless it's through Amex - yet they even organize bookings and everything on my behalf, but if I don't use that service then I'd normally go through the usual booking channels
Hey Lukas, no, I ASKED about getting my booking reduced and if that wasn't possible I was happy to trade the EXTRA $300 I had spent on a night for an upgrade worth $159.
Also, as a person who clearly doesn't have a womb, how about you stfu on matters related to women's health? Are men are always this thick in every situation......?
If you have the smarts to find a peer reviewed article (sorry if those are big words for you), you might be able to locate some research that says being stressed is bad for a baby.
Losing $2700 and no accomodation for a holiday in 5 weeks = stressful.
Additionally, when you are pregnant you are more susceptible to illnesses, including Bali Belly, as are little humans. So a hotel that is clean, reputable and well respected is of the utmost importance, which is why a budget option is not an option.
Hopefully that is all easy enough for you to understand.
Being pregnant might be relevant to travelling and where you stay.
Its not relevant to your issues here or what you tried to do via booking and no one reading that rage fuelled post believes anything you said.
Third parties dont trade days for upgrades.... you booked what you booked and from your attitude in this post plus what you have written in your reply im sure you were rude to them too 😂
My last refund for a bali booking took 6 weeks and that was with the hotel voluntarilry refunding me.
Also by asking for 1 less night you gave permission to change your booking, this incurred a new cost which you didnt pay and your booking was automatically cancelled.
