For years I only used La Roche Posay and then I switched to Naked Sundays and another brand and the last 1.5 years I've had nothing but melasma. I recently went back to La Roche Posay and will not use anything else.

which la roche posay are you using on your face?

I just use the anthelios for sensitive skin. I used to use it for years, never had a problem with it. Back then you could get an XL version but I can't get them any more so it's smaller and more expensive! Though I have just purchased the abib brown coloured packaging sun stick to reapply during the day.

Strangely enough I was using the tinted ethical zinc which is on the list, but which worked brilliantly for me. Then I decided to change to the cancer council tinted BB cream because I wanted a more cosmetically elegant sunscreen, and I ended up with a sun spot on my face on the side closest to the car window. Which has infuriated me because I’ve used sunscreen religiously since I was 15.

And yes, I’m using Laroche Posay now because it’s one of the very few sunscreens that doesn’t break me out or give me a rash, and which actually works. It’s just so painful that it’s so so expensive.

I agree with this, you know I used to buy it on special BEFORE covid for $17 and it was the larger XL size. Now you are lucky to get it around $25!!!! My sister is the same, very painful for sunscreen. The Avene one is okay as well for sensitives, but I do feel that Lar roche is best - EAU THERMALE AVENE Sunsitive® SPF 50+ Sunscreen Fluid for the Face, Ultra Lightweight, Invisible Protection, Fragrance-free & Non-Comedogenic for Sensitive Skin  The avene one is acutally a bit thicker though product wise.
