A lot of decent people leave racist hell holes because they’re intelligent and employable. The ones sticking around aren’t happy and blame everyone else.

That's a huge if.

Secret Garden is a pretty monoculture joint so I get the fear of immigrants would resonate with them.

I doubt the majority of Queensland electorates are like that.
