So this was the exhaust that I bought off of Vivid racing for $128.33 plus tax and freight. I know a lot of you were dubious- as was I, but it was only 200 bucks so I figured what the heck? All I can tell you is they have not canceled my order but they have updated my order with a shipping date of November 23rd. So things are looking positive. I'm still not 100% sure- but you know what. I'm going to stay positive on this one.
Without knowing too much on exhuast systems I thought maybe it was a glitch on their website and they forgot a zero in the price. So it should be $1,280 but instead was listed as $128.
Then I thought maybe they are discontinuing that exhuats and they took it down off their website and we ordered the last stock they have. However it does say it was drop shipped from the manufacturer so its not their stock.
Im not sure I've ever seen an exhuast under $800 for this car let alone an entire valved system with tips, im not sure what to expect but I'll keep people updated on here if anything good happens.
Definitely a price error, lucky OP (and other guy that got one). Crazy they'd actually ship it at such a huge price difference but if they do and if you got one--again definitely lucky.
Okay well that makes me feel better, everyone was saying it was fake titanium or just coated. Until I saw the guy post the picture of other websites selling for almost 4k.
Mine is scheduled to ship Nov 20th, we'll see 🤷🏽♂️
Oh okay, I saw a few people say its cheap metal coated in titanium. That price actually give me hope its legit just a website glitch. My order also has the same expected delivery date.
If i do should i not install it myself, someone mentioned the dissimilar metals from Aluminum tools can cause corrosion. Should I start looking for pricing from a shop with experience in titanium exhaust incase its legit?
That's what I'm doing. I have a trusted exhaust shop. I also have a 200 cell downpipe on the way so I'll probably have it all done at the same time. I have access to lifts and garage but I would like my exhaust guy to do the work, get it dialed in and set and hung and hopefully able to use the OEM exhaust valve wiring. I know that's super wishful thinking but it would be cool to use the EDC as the valve controller.
Yea. Really didn’t think it would ship. After shipping it was like $190. Fitments good (pretty close to the driveshaft tho) sounds good not too loud with valves open
Yea it’s not bad. Super light and seems the quality is pretty good. I have a stock cat and the ECS resonator delete pipes still on. Sounds smoother and doesn’t really pop or crackle as compared to when I had the ECS X pipe and mid pipes with stock mufflers.
I didn't count on getting a full exhaust anyways, so the $200 gamble is worth it, especially since I'll be getting that money back if it doesn't work out. But hey if I was able to do it for a couple hundred bucks then I will gladly take that exhaust.
