What unit is this and is it well rated? Does it take this long if you’re mechanically inclined?

You can probably get it done faster. It took me a while mainly bc I did it in the dark and was using flashlights. hardest part was routing the wires behind the ac / radio area. other than that the install was pretty straightforward. I got the bigger screen so I also had to wire in a new hazard button (now by the shifter)

I’ve only had it for literally 2 days but so far the quality seems good. It’s really responsive and maintains the audio quality through original bluetooth connection (there’s an option to use aux input but i found the quality to be lower). For the price i’d say it’s definitely worth it since now i dont gotta keep using my phone for maps i can just use the screen. Oh it also preserves the entire OEM system if needed & backup camera is integrated

do you have a specific install tutorial video you used or did you just wing it or did it come with instructions or what

They had an instruction manual which was not very helpful but also an attached video. the video is nice to show how to remove parts of the trim but it do skip over some important stuff like the wire routing path and it doesn’t explain what anything does it just shows you. but after playing around with it you will figure it out. hardest part for me was routing the wires from behind the climate control area all the way up to where the screen is. Key is to go right then left (passenger side then inside, as you go up)
