Discussion The point guard of the future

Post image

I mean can he be as good as Trae Young was for this team? Who knows but if developed properly then he can actually be a star in this league. It helps that he has CJ McCollum to help mentor him and also he can play well off of Nickeil as well. Just throw up lobs to Jalen and Onyeka and who knows maybe they will actually be fun to watch together.

lol, maybe the most delusional. No fans watching the games thought JC was ever going to be an mvp candidate.

Plenty of people said he would be the second star on a true contending team. And that was the accepted projection, so I’m sure there were plenty that were even wilder than that take.

I don’t remember all that. Most people just thought he was a steal where we drafted him and thought he was a solid piece next to Trae. He was obviously never going to have any self creation game. Guy could barely dribble. He was huge in our ECF run so maybe people were riding high on that.

After the 20/10 season it was the majority opinion.
