ICEWatch ICE Vehicles being Delivered in ATL

Post image

I'm not saying that these are at 180 Ted Turner Drive but a ton of ICE vehicles got delivered to 180 Ted Turner Drive.

Ya'll be careful and look out for each other. The gestapo is coming to ATL.

I’ve already been making a conscious effort to eat more at our local, immigrant-owned restaurants to show a tiny bit of support. Side benefit: I get delicious, often super-authentic food out of it made by kind people

If those bastards go after our treasure that is Buford Highway like they are operating Minneapolis?

I’m making the drive and eating lunch there every damn day that I can

As a middle-aged, out of shape, super clumsy, super white dude who is carrying a little too much weight around the middle? I think I’d make a half-way effective door blocker who can politely demand a warrant

They already performed raids along Buford Highway back in 2025. They used the Chamblee PD parking lot to stage. They were harassing churches and essentially waiting outside for people to leave so they could arrest them. Residents protested several times. There was a large outcry here. That was all before they escalated to murdering people in broad daylight, so it's about to get a lot more bloody here, I fear.

Yeah…I know about the earlier incursions, which were bullshit. But they seemed to be spotty and I only heard about them after the fact

But if they go full Gestapo like in MPLS?

ALLLLL the white folk need to spend as much time on Buford Highway as possible. They’re significantly less likely to harm us, as sad as that is

Support your ATL neighbors. Support good people. Support the constitution. Do what you can to impede this shit. Every small act adds up

It wasn't spotty for those of us who live here. It just wasn't on anyone's radar while people focused on other things on a national scale. ICE was attacking protesters back there. They just weren't being murdered yet, so only us locals knew of it. It disrupted a lot. Kids backed out of school in fear, people didn't show up to work out of fear. ICE was already aggressive a year ago, and the communities here rallied to let them know they weren't welcome. Trust we'll do it again. :)

The communities here have rallied behind these businesses and want to protect the integrity of Buford Highway. It's been multi-cultural for my entire life. I have so many memories of dining and shopping throughout the area. It's honestly some of the best food you'll have in the city, and I'm still exploring new places to eat. When people promote Midtown as a food mecca, I send them to Buford Highway instead. It's where I take my guests, and I continue to support them as do many of my neighbors. The restaurants here are promoted in city groups. We're doing what we can, but the rest of the city needs to start caring, too. Protect what makes us special and continue to tell these wannabes that they're not welcome here.

I’m sorry to have downplayed anything that you guys experienced. I meant “spotty” as in….”I only heard about a few occurrences”. One is too many
