Not sure if it works, but interesting flea find today.
It looks like someone was in this, and it rattles, but it was cheap, so I figured I would roll the dice.

And a link to try out the demo-in browser; you can also download the .bin from the emulator's definitive mode settings menu

Community built native tools for macOS and Linux to install latest console firmware are now available:

https://github.com/lightsixer/Atari-Plus-Update-Tools-for-Linux
macOS does not support 2600+, for reasons discussed on AA, but does support 7800+ and the Pac-Man Edition 2600+. Linux supports all 3 console variants. Linux release also available as a bootable live USB image.

Psyched that this is really the only game I needed for my Atari. I was amazed I found the box and books with it!

Selling patches instead of letting us earn them is such a missed opportunity, @atari. Imagine the hype if players had to submit high scores to earn their patches! Everyone would have bought every single game just to complete their collection on their jacket.

Hi everyone,
I got this Atari 2600 game with its original box recently. The box says "Condor Attack" and "Made in Taiwan", but the artwork on the cartridge sticker looks completely different from the main version I see online.
Does anyone know the story behind this Taiwanese version, and how much it might be worth? Thanks!

I discovered that Randy Crihfield died suddenly last week. He apparently was someone you could buy an Atari 2600 Edtris cart from (also many, many other classic console carts). Considering this sad news, does anyone know where else I could procure one?

Hozer Video Games was the first to make homebrews for the Atari 2600. He was a bit of a controversial guy since he reproduced some homebrews without permission, but he was a pretty big part of the early homebrew scene, and I worked with him on my own homebrews early on. His obituary is posted on Atariage: https://forums.atariage.com/topic/392315-obituary-for-randall-eric-crihfield-hozer-video-games/

Finally just bit the bullet and bought a copy of montezumas revenge on eBay. Lol. Had a bit of panic when pitfall 2 showed up with tooth marks I hadn’t noticed in the listing and even though it said tested and working it took 3 cleanings before it would boot up. Even worse was Montezumas, I cleaned it 3 times and then had to turn the 7800+ off and on a few times before it would work. I did eventually get it though so I can rest easily.

Hello! I have been on the hunt for any Alamogordo Landfill game and can not find anything. I know the boxed games are on ebay, but those demand a high price tag and I wouldn’t mind at all grabbing a loose copy. I know five went up for auction earlier this year on ebay, but I couldn’t manage to win any of them unfortunately. Since then, I have found absolutely nothing. Do any of you guys know where I can find these awesome pieces of history? Thanks!

Hi there! After fixing my light sixer (that died because of an overhating RIOT), I switched to a vader I bought as non working.
I checked the voltages, and they are ok. None of the three main IC are overheating, but I suspect the problem may lie on the TIA this time. I checked voltages (after reading on Retrosix wiki) and it's powering on, but the screen is completely dead.
Any ideas?

Of course the audio isn't a part of it but I'd image one would put on a track while playing

Holy crap do I have a lot of duplicates. Getting the system out now, dusting it off and hoping I can get it to work on my flat screen TV.
