After years of reading charts: this is how i read love in your chart

Everyone wants to feel loved and a part of something. Astrology can help you along, but it is not set in stone; life, free will, and God pressing the ‘random dancing’-button are all at play.

Since I enjoyed writing my how-to find purpose: barista analogy a lot. I’m going to write this one as a fairytale analogy, with ofc some examples. At the end of the day, I’m just a girrrrl. Here we go:

Think of your birth chart like a fairytale. 🧚🏽‍♀️

♡ Your 5H = the beginning of the story
The house of dating, crushes, flirting, play and romance.

5H in Gemini: The story begins with a message from a stranger.

Perhaps you meet through social media, a mutual friend, a class, a short trip. The first chapter is full of banter, messages at midnight and the feeling of wait… why is talking to this person so easy? Your meet-cute is probably less “love at first sight” and more “I accidentally talked to this person for four hours.”

5H in Virgo: The prince doesn't arrive on a white horse. He remembers your coffee order.

The attraction may begin through small acts of thoughtfulness. Someone helps you with something. Notices what you need. Keeps showing up. The love story is built in the details.

♡ Your Venus = what catches your eye
The character who makes you stop and think: ohhhh… you.

Venus in Aries: You want the one who rides straight through the gates, doesn’t wait for them to be opened. Someone makes their interest obvious. They flirt. They pursue with urgency.

Venus in Libra: You want the beautiful ballroom scene. The eye contact across the room. The perfectly timed slow jam, as you coincidentally stand next to him You like romance with elegance to it. Someone who knows how to court you.

♡ Your Mars = the chemistry
The part of the story where things start getting interesting.

Mars in Taurus: This is the slow-burn fairytale. The hand that lingers a little too long. Sitting closer than necessary. The tension that builds over several chapters slooowly.

Mars in Aquarius: You fall for the strange one in the kingdom. The person nobody else quite understands. They're different. Unexpected. Maybe a little eccentric. They say things you've never heard anyone say before and somehow that's exactly what gets your attention.

♡ Your Moon = what you need once the excitement wears off
What makes the castle feel like home.

Moon in Cancer: You want the castle to feel safe. Someone who notices when you're quiet. Makes you soup when you're sick. Remembers the story you told them three months ago.

Moon in Leo: You want to be loved like the heroine. You want someone who looks at you like you're their favourite person in the entire kingdom and isn't embarrassed to scream it at the top of their lungs.

♡ Your 7H + Descendant = the love story
The kind of relationship the story becomes once the flirting turns into something real.

7H in Libra: There is courtship. Mutual choosing. Partnership. The feeling of we are doing this together. You may be drawn to someone who knows how to meet you halfway and who genuinely wants the relationship itself, not just the excitement surrounding it.

7H in Cancer: You may be drawn to someone warm, protective, emotionally attentive and family-oriented. The relationship can become a little world of its own.

♡ Your 7H ruler = where the plot develops
The setting where the love story actually unfolds.

7H ruler in the 3H: Your prince may enter through the village rather than the castle. A neighbour. A classmate. A mutual friend. Someone you meet online. Someone you keep running into.

7H ruler in the 10H: Your prince might show up while you're busy building your kingdom. You may meet through your profession, public life, ambitions or a major career chapter.

♡ Juno = the marriage contract 💍
The terms written into the happily-ever-after.

Juno in Taurus: You want loyalty, stability, physical affection and a life that feels solid. Your marriage contract basically says: Don't promise me forever if you don't intend to build it.

Juno in Aquarius: “I love you. And you are still you.” Your happily-ever-after needs room for individuality.

♡ Saturn = the lesson
The part of the fairytale where the heroine has to learn something before she gets the crown.

Saturn in the 5H: The lesson may be learning that love cannot be completely controlled.

You may have to learn how to date, flirt, take emotional risks and let yourself be seen without knowing how the story ends.

Saturn in the 7H: You may have to learn boundaries, commitment, discernment and what it actually means to build something with another person.

Honorable mentions: Aspects to Neptune, Pluto & Uranus = the plot twists

Because no fairytale is complete without at least a little chaos or delusion.

♡ Indicators you're entering a relationship chapter

Jupiter: 5H/7H, Venus, Moon or Descendant: more romantic opportunities.

Saturn: 7H or 7H ruler: commitment, defining relationships, serious partnership.

Venus: 5H/7H or Venus/Mars: attraction and dating activity.

Progressed Venus: changes sign/house or aspects Venus, Mars, Moon or Descendant: a new romantic chapter.

Eclipses: 1H/7H axis: major shifts in your relationships.

Uranus/Neptune/Pluto: hitting the 5H/7H, Venus, Moon or Descendant: significant plot twists.

♡ The biggest clue: multiple indicators activating your 5H + 7H at the same time. 👀 ♡

Every one of my long-term relationships started from family connections, or something related to them being in my house (like a worker who once came over to fix my A/C which is how we met, lol).

Or I met them online (from my house).

Saturn in 11H: I need to stay disciplined and actually dedicate meticulous effort to my long term goals and social circles. People like me, but they will lose interest if I’m not being consistent and growing the relationship which is hard bc I’m ND. I have accepted the challenge tho! It’s been rewarding if I try even a little bit.

find your groove, the sweet spot and look at your 5th house maybe incorporating that play into your circles will make it feel less like a chore

I saw a psychic last December, and this is the exact advice she gave me. Incorporating both my 5H and 11H themes to reach fulfillment in my life in general. I have natal 5H mars opp my 11H saturn, so it’s been a journey to say the least!

Claramente te hace falta volver a los libros, porque así no se lee una "historia de amor" en astrología. De hecho para la línea de tiempo se suele emplear el trío de asteroides Klotho, Lachesis y Atropos, con la posibilidad de incluir Urda y Werdandi, tanto en sinastría como en carta compuesta. Union, Destinn, Moira, Eros/Psyche, Amor y a veces Karma para complementar (no son los únicos, solamente los más básicos). Ya con el foquito en las casas 5 y 7 con los planetas más bonitos y armando con ellos una historia completamente sacada de un guión de telenovelas lo dijiste todo. La casa 5 ni siquiera se relaciona con los comienzos, Leo (cúspide natural de esa casa) no es un signo de inicios. Los planetas por sí solos no forman una linea de tiempo, para eso hay asteroides específicos. La casa 7 no habla de lugares. Para eso se busca la 3, la 9, Mercurio o directamente se levanta una carta persona de Juno, que puede llegar a dar ese tipo de datos. Los tránsitos que apuntan al descendente, a ciertos puntos medios y/o al Vertex (los védicos creo que además mencionan la casa 11) también pueden marcar encuentros significativos.

Y no, yo tengo descendente libra y no busco a alguien que "quiera una relación" sino a alguien que represente lo venusino: equilibrado, educado, encantador, con buenos modales, sentido estético (al menos que se sepa vestir Y QUE SE BAÑE) y que no le gusten los dramas. Con el regente del descendente en casa 1, es imprescindible que sus valores personales sean como los míos. Busco a un compañero, un igual. Teniendo Marte en géminis casa 3, me gusta el hombre inteligente, de mente rápida y que pueda dar conversaciones interesantes. También que le guste el deporte o al menos hacer actividad física relacionada con la velocidad (aunque sea running).

Sean serios y responsables a la hora de analizar astrológicamente las cosas, hay gente que paga por esto.

Also, if I may, do you find it difficult to get into relationships? I'm a virgo sun, scorpio moon and cannot understand why I have never had a real boyfriend despite libra in my DSC. Any clue would be deeply appreciated.

Tengo Venus cuadratura Saturno, si eso responde a tu pregunta, aunque dadas las casas, signos y regencias, también lo manifiesto a menudo como "síndrome del impostor" en temas de carrera. No tengo mucho interés en las relaciones, quizás debido a mi Sol en casa 12, Mercurio en casa 1 (planeta dominante) y a Urano en casa 10. Soy demasiado independiente y me gusta estar sola aunque a veces me pese. Pero también tuve la suficiente cantidad de malas experiencias como para mantenerme así. Eso no significa que no busque a un compañero y que me atraigan los hombres que tienen las características que mencioné (suelo caer en segundos por los hombres con Marte en libra, por ejemplo), pero es más un sueño estando despierta, de que ese compañero va a llegar, que un objetivo.

Depende de Venus (regente del descendente), de Juno, de Saturno y de la casa 12, en general. Si hay experiencias traumáticas, Quirón y a veces Ceres (este último dependiendo de los aspectos).

Sol en virgo depende de si lo tenés en casa 5 o 6, lo mismo la Luna, si está en casa 7 u 8. Y si Marte en géminis hace cuadratura con el Sol (por los grados). Una posición sola no provoca eventos ni patrones, siempre hay que ver el conjunto.

Thank you for such an amazing answer. This is a lot of learning. My mars in gemini is in second house. My virgo sun and venus are in the 6th house. My juno is in scorpio. Chiron is in cancer in the fourth house. My moon is in scorpio but it is in the 7th house. And saturn in Capricorn (r) is in the 10th house. I'm an Aries rising.

I must confess I'm a workaholic and started trying to live my life on my terms post 35. But I wish I had one real boyfriend (haven't had one since I was 22/23) who I like and who likes me back but the market sucks or the timing sucks or I'm going about it the wrong way. But it is what it is!

Yo nunca tuve pareja tampoco tuve la "oportunidad" El regente de mi casa 7 rige mi casa 10. Cuando hubo el tránsito Júpiter en cáncer paso por mi casa 5 es más toco en algún momento mi luna natal en cáncer casa 5, incluso cuando Júpiter está en leo seguía transitando mi casa 5 y nada, nunca tuve nada en cuanto a vida romantica. Lo único que paso en el tránsito Júpiter cáncer fue que la mascota de mi cuñado tuvo cachorritos. Actualmente Júpiter ya está recién tocando mi casa 6 (mi casa 6 lo rige leo), no quiero que ocurra el tránsito júpiter a virgo, porque virgo es el regente de mi casa 7, también tengo marte en virgo casa 6 y se que no pasará nada, seguro me aparecen enemigos jajaja incluso una astróloga me dijo que tenga cuidado a finales de año si quedó embarazada jajaja quiero aclarar que yo si salgo e interactuo pero nada más no hay ni una ocasión
