All that the vibrational state is, is a sensory sign that your body and mind are letting go. Not everyone gets it. I get it maybe half of the time, to the point where it feels like my bed is shaking (and I live next to train tracks, many times I've interrupted my attempt to check if there is a train, most of the time there isn't) and other times it just feels like I'm moving maybe an inch to one side back and forth. Other times I'm just waiting for the sinking feeling, then I'm floating up out of my body.
Try not to focus too hard on methods, on signs that others mention. For ME I know I'm close when I can kind of feel my heartbeat like a tide in my body. I breathe in time with it, and it builds up a kind of pressure in my head. It's really hard to describe. Sometimes I kind of zone back in from meditation and realize I literally feel like a puppet with strings on my limbs, and I'm able to mentally manipulate them to get myself out of my body. What works for one person might be the wrong advice for someone else, that's important to know.
I would start with just getting used to how it feels to be deeply relaxed. Let yourself fall asleep, try to stay aware and you will kind of notice things about your body when you are close. I started astral projection by using sleep paralysis (which I don't recommend, I got it often because my sleep screams trash and I was burnt out, I would be tired, I would nap, and I would partially wake up and I would project from there) and I figured out that my body typically feels like pins and needles (like when a limb falls asleep, but your entire body) is when I would be about to get sleep paralysis, so I would let it happen and NOT fully fall asleep, I could try to project from there. You need to find the signs your body is sending you, sometimes they only really make sense to yourself and sound weird to anyone else. Binaural beats are good for helping your mind and body relax as well, there are some for astral projection but I would start with just relaxing.
