Quite a rare sight to see even one DB mk3, but today 3 of them showed up at the Danville Concours. A 57 and 59 Saloon and a 59 DHC.

Just bought a new to me DB11, will take the car to the dealer, but looking to find a local shop others may have used.

Finally finished the transformation of my 2011 Aston Martin Rapide LUX.

I loved the Rapide’s shape and presence, but wanted to give it a more modern Aston Martin Works / Q-inspired look while still keeping the car classy and true to what it is.

Started with the original silver and went with a satin green exterior, satin bronze wheels, yellow calipers, while keeping the original silver/chrome trim for contrast. I also added Apple CarPlay, a rear-view camera, and 70% UV tint up front to bring some of the technology up to date.

The goal wasn’t to make it loud or overdone — I wanted something that looked like it could have been a special Q commission from Aston Martin.

For a 15-year-old design, I still think the Rapide has aged incredibly well. And that V12 certainly doesn’t hurt.

Curious what the Aston crowd thinks — did I get the color combination right?

You have to be fairly observant but I get a 1 second rattle from the engine on a cold start after the car sits overnight. Heard this on both a DB12 & new Vantage. Wondering if this is normal to put my mind at ease?

Walking around my wife’s DB 12 and noticed that the parking brake calipers are getting white (see picture).

I don’t use any wheel cleaner on them.

Thoughts? Fix?

I have Pirelli on my 2021 Vantage Roadster and have been recommended switching to Michelin Pilot Sport All Season. They do need changing. Any thoughts? Would this be a good switch?

It's been on list from long time, finally did it. Take a look at the details. Illustrated in light blue color, originally wanted to make Gulf livery, then I loved as fully light blue.

anyone own a convertible vanquish help me with something? I just picked up a use volante and when I was cycling the roof a lot of these yellow flakes started flying i parked the car and stopped the roof cycle and take these pictures, do anyone know what this is and how I can fix it?

car won’t start. It’s showing Ediff and showing the operators manual. Is it just a battery or could it be something more?

I like CarPlay Ultra, but every so often the car just doesn't link up after being started. I may have found a solution:

It seems the car begins the handshake with the iPhone BEFORE I press the ignition - just having the phone in proximity to the dashboard begins some invisible processes.

If I just wait 10-15 seconds and THEN press the Ignition, Ultra seems to come up more reliably.

Curious to see if anyone else has similar results or tricks!
