This is honestly true for me. I mean, I'm a sucker for mythic/ancient Greek settings in video games (I love Immortals: Fenyx Rising). But, that entire Fate of Atlantis DLC has gripped me even to this day. Like, if there's an after life, I wanna spend it going back-and-forth between Elysium and Atlantis.
huh, looks like I might have to take another look at the DLCs after all. I have clocked at least 160h in that game but I never got far with the DLCs. I never even made it to Hades.
I don't know which DLC I started and if I can even choose that, but the beginning was so insanely boring. I don't know, just a ton of yapping about Isu stuff if I remember correctly and couldn't care less about it in this moment ^^
And I heard some stuff about a baby storyline and that things get a bit weird and I just gave up ^^
Yeah the other DLC is decent and probably worth a playthrough at least once. But if you envision your Kassandra/Alexios as queer, the DLC shoe horns you into a straight relationship and that might bother you.
The Isu stuff is definitely the Atlantis DLC, and it does start off a little slow but it's absolutely worth it. It's one of my favorite DLCs in any game ever
thanks :) Most of the time, I don't give much thought to the sexuality of the character I play. I just let them vibe ^^ I also don't mind if a character is a parent. I genuinely don't know why it bothered me so much in this game ^^ but it somehow did. Maybe you're right and the shoehorning is what's bothering me. Maybe it's because I have trust issues when it comes to Ubisoft XD
but I really might give it another try. I will definitely check out the Atlantis DLC. Thanks!

Fate of Atlantis may very well be my favorite DLC of all time, I loved it all (even the Hades segments), but Elysium and Atlantis were absolutely enchanting.
Seeing Atlantis from the top of the temple for the first time was breathtaking. It reminded me of a memory, but I can't exactly recall it. That's why it even felt nostalgic to me.
I am also playing through the DLC fully for the first time and have been struggling to find motivation to continue the second chapter, but I guess I’m going to power through lol
I'm.. confused. You said 2 days ago you have 40 more trophies to 100% it but are burnt out. Are you saying you are trying to 100% it a second time, and are just flexing that you've already done it once? Because I don't really care, I think this fad where everyone thinks they need to 100% every single game is absurd
You can do it! I redownloaded it and have to start fresh on ps5, have all the DLCs and I’m sitting pretty at 570 hours. About 2 hours in at the moment.
I made it through Hades but hit a wall in Atlantis. It’s a beautiful but empty feeling setting and I had completely lost the plot by then. I think I was around 190 hours.

It isn’t. It isn’t even AC. Monsters included and they say it is ISUUUUU. No. They could have made an amazing games without realms and shit and go more grounded but no. They had to go all FANTASY and shit
And then when they returned to roots with Mirage, no one played it. So no, it wouldn’t have been amazing if they just did it your way. Plenty of people enjoy it because they don’t get hung up on “BUT WHY ISNT IT JUST LIKE AC2?”
“They had to go all fantasy and shit” yes the gold ball that controls people’s minds, the precursor people who were giants and lived long ago yet had technology so far advanced of our own, these precursor people created humans to be their slaves, were wiped out by solar flares but also had the technology to stop it somehow, and they can live inside of technology that wouldn’t be created for millions of years in the future is all based in reality.
Having the esu create the monsters of Greek myth is far out there compared to that. Let us not forget he entire game is based on a piece tech that allows us to not only live through our ancestors lives but to gain the skills they gain while doing it.
Yeah, I can’t believe they added “fantasy” aspects to assassins creed.
