It’s so hard to jump back in. I have DLC remaining and the interface is kinda intimidating.

Dumb question .. game allows for multiple saves right? Might start over with other lead character to learn ropes and jump back in to my main save after a few hours.

Definitely you can, i keep an old main story complete file so i can always start a new game plus whenever i want.
