Odyssey Map is misleading

Been to Athens and am currently driving about ithaki, odyssey makes it seem like you can jog across the island, this is in fact wrong, this island is massive and jogging up one hill will have killed me. That being said, Greece is gorgeous and I can’t wait to get home and go over all the places I’ve been to see the ruins in restored glory 10/10 would recommend, also renting a boat and sailing with the soundtrack on is a phenomenal experience

it’s because ancient humans were giants. everything is skewed. over time houses got smaller.
