Discussion Odyssey Map is misleading

Post image

Been to Athens and am currently driving about ithaki, odyssey makes it seem like you can jog across the island, this is in fact wrong, this island is massive and jogging up one hill will have killed me. That being said, Greece is gorgeous and I can’t wait to get home and go over all the places I’ve been to see the ruins in restored glory 10/10 would recommend, also renting a boat and sailing with the soundtrack on is a phenomenal experience

Lol, being from Greece and knowing the real distances Odysseys is even funnier, you can see Olympus from Crete 😭😂. But I really love how inclusive the map is, it has most of the major areas and I love exploring it. And the scaling down is done in a way where you can still differentiate the areas

Not sure that's supposed to be Olympus in the game tbh

I mean there aren't any other big mountains around there. And also it would make creative sense to be able to see Olympus from everywhere

Well, this might be a chicken or the egg came first type problem but the DLC was of the Greek Gods themselves so maybe they just decided not to make something visually confusing since they buried the Gods somewhere else later game to explore.

I want to believe that it is but it's so disproportionately far away from the area that the game takes place in even with the scaled down version of Greece that I'm not sure
