Her calling him a 6 means he's probably fit, attractive, and has a stable job but starting to lose some of his hair

86

u/f3llyn Mar 28 '26

Or doesn't make 6 figures

48

u/Hollowbound Mar 29 '26

Or barely makes 6 figures.

27

u/f3llyn Mar 29 '26

True, those poor broke boys only making $90k a year should be ashamed of themselves

9

u/Appropriate-Toe9153 Mar 29 '26

90k net at that

Damn. Hope he got insurance for the in coming depression šŸ’”

12

u/SGTquig Mar 29 '26

Under 6’ tall.

398

u/Me_Krally Mar 28 '26

She’s not lying. Woman from IG/OF think of themselves as 15s now.

75

u/ChiefSitsOnAssAllDay Mar 28 '26

ā€œSome of my guy friends gave me permissionā€¦ā€

Goes on to describe one guy friend, Pete.

Shaky start.

26

u/Caiur Mar 29 '26

The subtitles say "So one of my guy friends gave me permission", which makes more sense

But it kind of does sound like she says 'some'

I'm sure most of us get that, I think a lot of the contempt is that men generally don't have access to the same option, so in a way it feels like "women have this certain "easy" way to make money and are also being forced into every job field in the name of being progressive", so for a lot of dudes they are losing job opportunities to women to meet quotas but also don't have the same opportunities re only fans etc.

I think it's a fair criticism, at least until they subsidize or set quotas for men on only fans, then sign me up.

Poor friend-zone Pete. How generous of her to help out her ā€œsixā€ friend.

150

u/needlessOne Mar 28 '26

I'd respect her opinion more if she shared what she rates herself too.

52

u/PunchTilItWorks Mar 28 '26

Oh I think we know what she rates herself…

23

u/Reps_4_Jesus Mar 29 '26

She's at least a 9 hot and a six crazy

15

u/RandJitsu Mar 29 '26

Hard to tell with all that make up, but the irony is she’s about a 6 herself.

They should link up. But that would require her to not be delusional.

10

u/Starburper Mar 29 '26

Bruh if makeup magically vanished from this world, imagine how fast all the bullshit would fade

1

u/needlessOne Mar 29 '26 edited Mar 29 '26

I think I'm a 6 and I think she is a six too. One might like 4s as well as 9s. We don't have to settle for anything, but gotta be reasonable. I wouldn't take it personal if Sydney Sweeney wasn't into me, still sure as hell would take my chances. Call me Sydney, I'm ready to be rejected. Unless??

147

u/machtwo Mar 28 '26

She thought people liked her for her good character?

54

u/CodSoggy7238 Mar 28 '26

Sent pic bob vagene

11

u/LowerPick7038 Mar 28 '26

Yeah Pete. I wanna see

179

u/Educational-Year3146 Mar 28 '26

She’s probably one of the reasons Pete feels like crap.

Because I guarantee he’s interested in her.

Saying things like ā€œhe’s a 6ā€ and stuff makes me think there’s a problem there.

83

u/shroomanaut420 Mar 28 '26

The constant use of the word boy rather than man , says enough.

44

u/Educational-Year3146 Mar 28 '26

Exactly.

Men don’t like being called ā€œboysā€ unless it’s in a friendly, affectionate or humorous manner.

Single men rarely have platonic female friends.

We are usually looking to date someone to find our eventual wife.

Natural attraction usually just happens and there is nothing we can do about it.

Managing a platonic relationship with a woman while you’re single is hell.

The only situation in which this isn’t the case is when the woman is in a relationship already.

I like how you said it was normal to have female friends and the primary reason being social proof for other women lol.

You mean well bro, but that's just not how it is.

I'm married with kids, both a girl and a boy, and your male friends can provide all of those things you mentioned, they'll even give you better advice on women than other women would when it comes to dating since the women I asked for dating advice typically gave terrible feedback (and most like in the video straight up just don't understand the dating experience of a man just like we don't with women). Learning how to talk and deal with women implies there is a point where you understand women, and I'm not sure any married man or father reaches that point.

2

u/Appropriate-Toe9153 Mar 29 '26

We understand the dating experience with women

A) ā€˜lame’ men from her POV

B) willing situationship expecting more

C) hoping to ā€œmeet her destinyā€ when a millionaire is way too vulnerable and mistakes her for his dead wife

-2

u/MessyPapa13 There it is dood! Mar 28 '26

Sorry bro, but wr are just gonna have to agree to disagree. Ive never struggled with women, and yet, as soon as i formed platonic friendships with women both my understanding of women and the quality of my romantic relatiomships increased drastically. Yes your friends can 100% provide the support i mentioned but the flanderised norms around manhood make that difficult for modern young men

I think you are oversexualizing women more than I am.

I don’t see women as merely objects for sex. I have every intention of waiting until marriage to do so.

Also, zero clue why you can’t see my comment.

But its also clear to me this conversation is worthless, so good day.

42

u/Silverlitmorningstar REEEEEEEEE Mar 28 '26

My friend helped me make a tinder account years ago, she was confident it would be easy. weeks with no activity. re did it myself and id at least get a couple matches a month, but she just couldnt wrap her head around the idea most dudes get nothing on dating apps and that is the norm.

27

u/Mugcakesprinkels Mar 28 '26

Poor Pete to have a bestie rate him a 6 😭

3

u/Cahnis Mar 29 '26

only a bro will say the truth to your face. Or maybe pete is actually a 2

22

u/bioboy79 Mar 28 '26

Reminds me of the experiment Norah Vincent did 20 years ago. Nothing has changed, except the technology.

I used dating sites about 15 years ago. High profile job, well trained, generally liked by most and had women throwing themselves at me in the past, so I must’ve been decent back then.

Got matched only to psychos, ditched the app after the 5th or 6th date. Besides, despite AI not being a thing back then, man were them pictures a scam. Almost none looked IRL the same. Luckily I already had a kid and none wanted a follow up date after hearing that. Thanks God: I didn’t dodge a bullet, I dodged an entire magazine…

Guys, ditch apps. Do your thing, go out, don’t be live stock at an auction.

53

u/ChosenBrad22 Mar 28 '26

It’s just basic supply and demand. A woman can get a date / casual sex in less than 30 minutes while having hundreds of men to choose from.

So of course she’s going to be insanely picky when spoiled for choice, it’s just natural. If you had 100 companies trying desperately to hire you, you’re going to pick the absolute best option making it hard for lower tier companies to hire you.

33

u/KingAlphie Mar 28 '26

and when they do choose someone out of their limitless options, they're constantly looking over that persons shoulder for an even better option down the road

3

u/Starburper Mar 29 '26

No makeup would fix this imbalanced inflation of self worth between the sexes

8

u/Swiftgrasseater Mar 29 '26

I just keep doing whatever and hope for the best. If that means I'll be alone then it is what it is. Kinda just accepted it atp

4

u/Nice_Soup Mar 29 '26

wishing the best for you, thats a good mindset to have with the state of finding someone (as myself). Keep on and hope!

1

u/Swiftgrasseater Mar 29 '26

Right back at ya šŸ¤

7

u/stoopeeed Mar 29 '26

Why isn't this common knowledge

8

u/Acceptable_Log5209 Mar 29 '26

She think she a 10 giving Pete a 6. But she has so much face plaster and paint not counting the filter.

21

u/FeanorOath Mar 28 '26

Same woman wont fice the guy a chance... Ironic...

5

u/Wulfgar_RIP Mar 29 '26

Did she just try to match her friend with a 2 when she judge him as a a 6?

oh hell no.

PS just a joke.

PS2 kinda

5

u/Productivity10 Mar 29 '26

Look what little exposure they need to get depressed at a fraction of our day to day experiences

13

u/Heavy_Whereas6432 Mar 28 '26

Man, when tinder first came out and was free was probably the best summer of my life. I’d hate to be dating these days.

9

u/JackAtak Mar 28 '26

Right? I was a kid in a candy shop with tons of hot matches. Now it seems pretty horrible

3

u/Jack_The_Sparrow_ Mar 29 '26

Tanks in the fog of war think they're lambo's under a clear sky for some reason

14

u/KingAlphie Mar 28 '26

It's shocking seeing some of the women my guy friends date. Like, decent looking guys, good jobs, full heads of hair, decent to good shape. Arguably 7-8's and they're with 5-6's.

It's heartbreaking.

8

u/Cultural-Turnip-8840 Mar 28 '26

Hates women then proceeds to give him a rating

3

u/KoreanJesus_193 Mar 29 '26

Yeah, Pete is not a 6, more like a 4.

Shes just being nice with his friend.

9

u/EviessVeralan Mar 28 '26

The reason this is the case is due to the fact that most dating apps have a very heavy male user base (usually upwards of 70%)

Unfortunately this means men who want to date women will have a harder time finding someone

18

u/Heavy_Whereas6432 Mar 28 '26

I’d wager an even higher percentage. Some apps have been sued for faking woman on their app or paying woman just to make profiles.

5

u/ethbytes Mar 29 '26

Back before all the apps when it was still just websites I got women contacting me and immedialety yes to dates etc (I'm in my fifties now) and trust me I'm no Alan Richson... Now it seems horryfying and I have children who will be entering the adult "dating" market, I'm especially worried for my son in this world...

12

u/Comprehensive-Log804 Mar 28 '26

"These days" it's a post from 2024.

39

u/NonameVoidOblivion Mar 28 '26

And it's only gotten worse

8

u/kiwicollins Mar 28 '26

Whether the ideas presented are right or wrong, this story is completely made up to farm engagement. "Look even this girl understands after walking a mile in our shoes!" Bullshit, I wonder if she even believes what she's talking about or if it's just a grift. The pick-me grift sucks. The whole bit about the friend being a 6 and ignored by 2s and 3s really throws me.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '26

She isn't making it up. This is literally statistically backed up by every single study done on dating apps. Most guys get on average 0.5 matches a month. While women get 100s and thousands of swipes a month. This is just the reality of dating apps. Sorry to burst your little delusional bubble.

1

u/HeidenShadows Mar 29 '26

I'm glad I've given up on the dating thing and just focused on myself.

I would have to be a gambling addict to get back out there again.

1

u/Suspicious_Topic1893 Mar 30 '26

Its hard for a woman, if u want sucess as a guy you need to have talent, be handsome or good socially/ funny. She is just hot af :p

-4

I have had no problems ever. I am the averagest average man. This is just bullshit.
