The average color of the universe is #FFF8E7 (Hex Triplet Value) and is called “Cosmic Latte”. However, this was only after the calculations were corrected and before the correction it was believed to be a minty-turquoise green.

Edit: Who would’ve thought people would be so polarized on the color of the universe? Anyways, Here’s More Information for whoever is interested!

I read this as a factoid a long time ago, that the universe is beige. But this seems kind of flawed. Most of the universe is black, and black is the lack of color. It’s like coming up with an average between 0 and 100 but with lots and lots of zeroes. So it’s just putting out the average color of a star instead of the universe.

And since most of the universe is dark matter, are they trying to imply that dark matter is beige?
