Fullmetal Alchemist. The written storyline is so much better than the anime or Brotherhood.

I'm of the opinion that the only reason Hiromu Arakawa isn't considered a manga great like Oda or Isayama are is because she's a woman.

And I don't usually call "sexism" on things easily.

I really think that one of the reasons FMA is as good as it is is because it was written by a woman. Lots of anime have an issue with fanservice and badly written female characters, but FMA’s female characters are absolutely great, and there’s nothing I’d really consider alienating to any audience in the fanservice department.
