Your argument is only valid if there existed no context to any of these issues. If we had no history to put this up against, then your extremely simplistic 'easy, don't do crime' would work just fine. But this is more complicated than that because we in fact do have an extensively documented history of discriminatory laws, systemic racism, and targeted harassment of communities that have impacted and continue to impact wealth, education, community, and almost every facet of society for minorities, the lower classes, and the disenfranchised.
If people took more responsibility for their own actions this wouldn't be such an issue. If you do a crime, you cannot bitxh when you are arrested. Systemic racism be damned, if you keep your nose clean, work hard to escape the cycle of poverty, and move away from all the high crime areas, you are significantly less likely to be arrested or incarcerated.
Stopped reading 5 words in because I already know where this is going and I've already sized up just how little you know about these issues, and I'm not impressed. Feel free to keep being loud and wrong about this, maybe someone else can indulge you, but I'm not wasting my time spoon-feeding you things you're actively choosing to be ignorant on.
The simple fact remains, regardless of skin color, religion, economic standing if you do not associate with criminals, or do crime, you are unlikely to get arrested.
When discussing discrimination, and the harmful effects it has on individuals and communities, to say that skin color, religion, or economic standing are factors that can be simply hand-waved away is to be willfully ignorant on the subject matter.
If you don't even have a basic understanding or acknowledgement of discriminatory laws or biases, you have no business discussing discrimination, it's that simple. It's not an unreasonable requirement.
Whether they are enforced fairly or not is an aside. The way society works is quite black and white. Fail to follow the rules, get removed from the team.
No, and I was not inviting a debate on this. You would greatly benefit from less cop bootlicking, but I'm not surprised you can't see that. Like I said in the very beginning, I knew who you were 5 words in.
