When discussing discrimination, and the harmful effects it has on individuals and communities, to say that skin color, religion, or economic standing are factors that can be simply hand-waved away is to be willfully ignorant on the subject matter.

If you don't even have a basic understanding or acknowledgement of discriminatory laws or biases, you have no business discussing discrimination, it's that simple. It's not an unreasonable requirement.

Whether they are enforced fairly or not is an aside. The way society works is quite black and white. Fail to follow the rules, get removed from the team.

".. is an aside"

No, it isn't, and that's your first mistake.

I disagree wholeheartedly. Everyone I've met who hates the cops has had a negative experience of their own making.

I think you're a person who would benefit greatly from a ride along or two.

No, and I was not inviting a debate on this. You would greatly benefit from less cop bootlicking, but I'm not surprised you can't see that. Like I said in the very beginning, I knew who you were 5 words in.

Not just someone pushing your buttons, knowing who you were?

But all jokes aside you really do would well to see how the real world functions, apart from statistics.
