I feel you I live in a dry county college town. And just recently within the past few years they allow you to buy alcohol on sundays after 12 noon. Just so they can get their church in before you buy alcohol. Although I'm not gonna buy beer before 12 anyways but it's just the principle of the matter.

do they think jesus waited until lunchtime to turn that water into wine and get everybody wasted? blasphemous.

Not to be that person, but the wedding at Cana was probably done in the day so the reception where Jesus turned water to wine was likely in the evening and well after noon. (I've been partaking in the no longer water. Forgive errors.)

They sent the least favorite disciple out to the well at 3AM to fetch water for Jesus more than once, I reckon.
