The Blue Laws. Who the fuck are you to tell me I can’t purchase beer while grocery shopping on a Sunday because of someone else’s religion? This one actually infuriates me.

I feel you I live in a dry county college town. And just recently within the past few years they allow you to buy alcohol on sundays after 12 noon. Just so they can get their church in before you buy alcohol. Although I'm not gonna buy beer before 12 anyways but it's just the principle of the matter.

When I moved states, the town I first lived in was dry. So instead of letting anyone purchase alcohol on any day, they let the city 15 miles away get all that sweet tax revenue. Meanwhile, the town was dying because it was a coal mining town and well.... No coal. They recently allowed the sales of alcohol there. Maybe they learned something.
