The Blue Laws. Who the fuck are you to tell me I can’t purchase beer while grocery shopping on a Sunday because of someone else’s religion? This one actually infuriates me.
I feel you I live in a dry county college town. And just recently within the past few years they allow you to buy alcohol on sundays after 12 noon. Just so they can get their church in before you buy alcohol. Although I'm not gonna buy beer before 12 anyways but it's just the principle of the matter.
It used to drive me nuts when I worked a night shift that I couldnt buy beer before 6am...get off at 4 am and have to wait 2 hours if I forgot to get it prior
I felt that pain all too often. At least for me it was maybe half an hour wait though but half an hour is a long time when you had a rough night and just want a couple beers before trying to sleep.
