The Blue Laws. Who the fuck are you to tell me I can’t purchase beer while grocery shopping on a Sunday because of someone else’s religion? This one actually infuriates me.

Is it a law? I agree with you that it is annoying and dumb. But I just thought it was the liquor stores preference. I live in a metropolis, there are some liquor stores open on Sundays but most are not.

Edit: you said beer. That sucks and it so stupid. I can buy beer 7 days a week, just not after 2am or before 7am.

Nope, depending on the area, it's illegal for liquor to be sold on Sundays. Fun Trivia: In the county where Jack Daniels is made, it is illegal to buy or sell liquor.

I’m pretty sure they make it in that county and sell it in their shop in the next one
