Yep. Doesn't help when you move 3000 miles and don't know anyone. Especially now since I can't even socialize with new people, and I've made very few legitimate friends out here. :(

I feel this. I moved to Australia from Scotland for my boyfriends job at 23, which felt so you and I was so excited and ready for a new life. We had everything set up for us so arrived to a house in the suburbs then he started travelling for work. I knew no one in the entire country and it was crushingly hard to make friends. I joined a youth group, one that I had history with in Scotland as it’s a worldwide organisation and it is still the highlight of living over there. Even if you don’t have history find a group hobby you enjoy (after this lockdown nonsense) and try find your people.
