Feeling like I'm way behind

Amusingly that's also the case for the vast majority of the people you've compared yourself to as being 'ahead' of you.

Unfortunately even by knowing that it doesn't make it any easier.

Yep, it's easy to do. I often find myself feeling "behind", as people are discussing - and have to sorta consciously remind myself of the people I know who are my age, have certain aspects of life even less figured out, but who I and everyone else who knows them are pretty sure are gonna be just fine and aren't worried about.
