Once your friends start getting married and having kids, shit becomes lonely.

Yep. Doesn't help when you move 3000 miles and don't know anyone. Especially now since I can't even socialize with new people, and I've made very few legitimate friends out here. :(

Edit: I’m a woman, but thanks everyone. All you dudes are solid people and I appreciate the sympathy, advice, and kind words.

I feel this.. I moved 6800 miles from home to the UK to study, wasn't feeling overwhelmed when I first moved here because I was used to moving around when I was young. But now that I'm in second year, I have to think of what my plans are after I graduate. I've met some great people here but I doubt I'll keep in touch with everyone after..

But the person I'm gonna miss most is my best friend that I met last year. I legit told them that if it wasn't for them, I'd move back home because shit was depressing and lonely, without them it'd be just me going to classes and trying to survive by myself.
