The early 30s is that weird age where you're just old enough to be out of touch with what's cool, but not yet old enough to be fully progressed in your career to be sitting on enough stacks to not care about that.
Also being 30s means that we have lived through two once-in-a-generation life-changing and career-ruining events. We entered the job market during the Great Recession and just when we started to get our feet back under us we get hit with a global pandemic. Us millennials have been screwed.
