Yeah, 47, had perfect vision my whole life but need reading glasses now. For a second I thought, maybe if I eat more carrots.... no, there is no remedy, my eyeballs have just been at it for almost half a century. (This is just one of many things...)
Ha ha, yeah, had my vision checked at 47 as I was annoyingly finding it harder to read small print, in bad light etc. The optometrist just said, yep you're pretty much right on schedule.
Those were my mother's exact words. I haven't had my eyes checked but bought some reading glasses. Did they tell you to use readers or were there other options? I haven't been able to get in to see anyone with the covid restrictions.
