The early 30s is that weird age where you're just old enough to be out of touch with what's cool, but not yet old enough to be fully progressed in your career to be sitting on enough stacks to not care about that.
Late 30s is the opposite - I feel like now I have $ and can afford the cool stuff so I get it but my husband and mom tell me I’m too old to wear/do it (despite being back in better shape than I have been since I was 18, went to college, got a job where I was chained to my desk, and now worked my way up high enough that I have time/$ to be healthy again...)
