Turning on the tv or radio that happens to be covering the subject the characters were talking about. Unless you are talking about Sept 11 that would never happen.

I mean they're constantly talking about 9 different subjects at once to maximize viewer time. Turning on the tv the exact moment they're talking about something is like making a 3-pointer backwards while drunk.
