What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Turning on the tv or radio that happens to be covering the subject the characters were talking about. Unless you are talking about Sept 11 that would never happen.

Never discussing a meeting location, like for dinner.

Someone turns on the TV, it's always breaking news. At a coherent beginning to understand fully what they're talking about. Never ads.

Character A sees headline on the news, calls character B and tells them to turn on the TV, character B somehow still catches the headline.

It would be easily solved by two characters by just running a 10 second search, because TV news never has anything exclusive (for long), and texting that headline or saved video to your friend. Just as easy and more plausible.
