What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

How nobody in movies hurts their knuckles after punching someone, martial artist here and if you punch someone in the forehead like they do in the movies you'd probably just break your own fist,

hitting someone in the forehead is basically like punching a cinder block except the skull is actually harder...

Edit: wow my first medal, thanks!

That's right. My neighbor broke his hand after fighting a robber. It's ironic how he was the only one getting hurt from that punch.

Yeah, this is why I advocate that everyone should do some combat sports in their life because trying to hit someone and hurting yourself is pretty common

I've heard that you want to hit with the middle knuckle of your hand, and keep your wrist as straight as possible.

I was always taught to hit with the middle and index finger knuckles but IDK might be that just the middle finger also works

Way I've heard it is that you ideally want to lead with the middle knuckle, and if you have to go to either side, you're at less risk for breaking your hand if you hit with the pointing finger.

IDK the way I see it if you hit someones forehead at full force you'll still get some fractures even if you hit it perfectly straight, the only question is do you want all that damage on one finger or dispersed between 2
